Making people and ideas findable

I know most of you already did a job description on the main page, but please go ahead and put down another one. This way we have one centralized area that we can all refer to. Thanks.

HELP!

I have a friend who has an emergency living situation and needs a house ASAP. Preferable 3 bdrms . She works in Beech Grove and wants something between there and the west side of Indianapolis. She wants something in a nice neighborhood as she has children and so far the referrals have not been conducive to that.

It is an emergency situation because she was in the process of buying a house and the owner demanded that she close by 12-21 after she had put money into repairs and moved furniture into there. He has now reneged on the deal and they will have to settle it in court.

In the meantime, she has terminated the lease at her apartment and is left in limbo as for what to do by December 31. She has 3 children living with her, and 8 year old son, a 16 year-old son and a pregnant daughter.

She was recently employed by ACS, doing very well on her job and is willing to pay a fair price for a nice place to move into in the next few days. If she does not find somewhere, she will have to seek temporary arrangements for herself and her family and that is not what she wants to do as she does not want to move twice.

This is an emergency situation considering as of 12-31 she and will technically be homeless. This was a rotten thing for the owner to do and if she finds somewhere rather soon and with few problems, she will be left with a sound mind to deal with his shenanigans.

If you can help her or have referrals, please respond here or at operationopenup@gmail.com.

We thank you for any help you can give.
