Hellow fellow Rainmakers! I am hosting an event tomorrow night and would love to have my Rainmaker friends there. "It's a Girl Thing" Christmas Shopping Event tomorrow evening 11/10. It is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the Village of West Clay Meeting House. We will have over 20 vendors there so you can get a great jump start to your holiday shopping. Sunshine Bakery will be there selling yummy (but not fat free;) baked goods and taking orders for Christmas cookies! All of the 20 vendors have made product donations with a minimum $50.00 value to our raffle. There is no admission fee to attend and raffle tickets will be sold for $2.00 each or 5 for $8.00, proceeds to benefit the National Alliance to End Homelessness. It is going to be a great evening and I would love to see your smiling faces there. I will be speaking at 8:00 and giving fabulous Holiday decorating tips. Make sure you come no later than 8:00 as we will be drawing for our raffle prizes right after my presentation!

Hey there, Rainmakers! It’s coming up on time to open up the Wild Wild West at Avon Rainmakers one more time. That will occur on Nov 4, 7:30-9:00 am at On-the-Border!

This month you’ll be able to think about how well you’re connected. The activity gives you an opportunity to examine some of your connections and perhaps build some new ones. Who knows that magical client who will give you the deal that will let you move to the Bahamas may just be waiting to be found next Wednesday!

You can choose to roll over and stay in bed then or come find that client. Choose wisely, my friend.

2009 Halloween Howl to benefit Riley Hospital for Children

On Friday, October 16, 2009, the fourth annual Halloween Howl fundraiser will take place at the Conrad Indianapolis hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana from 7:00 p.m. until midnight. Over the past three years, this exciting event has been a huge success and has raised much needed funds for local charities. This year’s Halloween Howl will benefit Riley Children’s Foundation.

Riley Children's FoundationRiley Children’s Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of Indiana’s children through philanthropic leadership in support of Riley Hospital for Children and its research programs, Camp Riley for Youth with Physical Disabilities and the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home. Riley Children’s Foundation is pleased to have a group of volunteers from Woman’s Life Indianapolis Chapter 611 who are busy planning to make this year’s event the best Halloween Howl yet! For more information about Riley Children’s Foundation, please visit www.rileykids.org. For more information about Woman’s Life, please visit www.womanslife.org.

Proceeds from this year’s Halloween Howl will be used to complete a much needed makeover of the Riley Hospital Unit 2A Child Life Activity room and will also provide support for Riley Hospital’s art therapy initiative. YOU can help create a safe and fun area for Riley children and also help to improve their emotional well-being.

We anticipate over 400 guests at this year’s Halloween Howl, including some of Indianapolis’ most prominent corporate and community leaders. We invite YOU to be part of this major fundraising event!

If you’d like to add to your sales force (and not have to pay commission to somebody) then you want to be at Avon Rainmakers this Wednesday, Aug 5 from 7:30 – 9:00 am at On-the-Border.

This month’s activity will be about how you can train other Rainmakers to be your sales people, and it won’t cost you a dime!

See you there!

Hello Smaller Indiana Members. I have a client that purchased the wrong version of Small Business Server 2008 Retail from NewEgg.com and since we opened the shrink-wrap on the package, they will not allow us to return it. Currently, the price on NewEgg.com is $899 but we are willing to take a bit of a hit and sell it for $830, no tax and no shipping. Here is the link for SBS 2008 on NewEgg.com - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116654&Tpk=32-116-654
