Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

I started riding again last summer. I ride a 1985 Honda Magna. I am also working on rebuilding a 1980 Yamaha 850 Triple.

I've been riding... 2 weeks! I accidentally took a gateway drug: I bought a scooter a couple of months ago and that was all she wrote. So I'd been doing all kinds of research, reading a couple of awesome riding books, and am taking the ABATE class in late July.

I've always loved the look and size (I'm 5'5") of the CB250 Honda Nighthawk as a starter bike. I was told there were 2 left in Indiana, literally. Dealers were calling Ohio to try to find me one. But I did find one at the Whiteland Honda shop. I love it a lot! I'm surprised by how comfortable I feel in city traffic. I rode it to work today for the first time... Looking forward the ABATE class, about which I hear nothing but great things.

I ride a 2000 HD Wide Glide.

Been riding since I was nine and almost everyday since 2000. I did lay her down last year on black ice so no more real winter riding.

If anyone wants to ride on the North Side of Indy, I would be happy to join them. Brockway Pub is a motorcycle cafe and there's a few riders there.

Hey group! Been waiting for a group like to pop up. I grew up on bikes and can't deny my addiction, I actually hit the pavement in 1983. I currently ride a Y2K Road King Classic. When spring hits I hope we can all hook up for a ride or two.

Don't forget the ABATE hangover [jan 1] rally that supports DAMAR Services.

I have been riding forever. As a kid I rode a Triumph Bonneville and a Yamaha RD 350. I worked for Harley-Davidson for several years so I got to ride many many different bikes. My current ride and my favorite all time bike is a BMW R1100S. I used to relish hard edged, intense sport bike riding. And I stil do. But I really enjoy riding the Interstate too.

I've been riding since I was 9, that's 46 years. I started on a red Honda "step-thru" 50, then a white '66 Honda 300 Dream, a green '75 Honda CB550, a black '78 Gold Wing, a wineberry '95 Gold Wing 20th Anniversary Edition (the purple people eater), and now a black cherry '06 Gold Wing. Locally, I like to ride in SW Indiana. I've ridden from Canada to the Keys and all over the east coast. The eastern sides of Kentucky and Tennessee offer great riding without having to travel too far.

Riding 27 years, started on a Honda 750 SS and currently have a Harley Ultra Classic. First ride as a passenger was on a neighbors Cushman and he worked for Harley-Davidson while we lived in Milwaukee when I was about seven years old. Have completed several great rides with one of them riding around Richmond, VA visiting historic America.
