Part Time Desktop Support Needed

Currently looking for part time/intern IT professionals to take on some Help Desk and Desktop Support assignments for my small company. Modern Information Solutions, LLC is a professional IT Consulting services company catering to small and mid size businesses in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. We are centrally located downtown a block away from the circle.

To start off with, I can only offer 8 to 20 hours a week (this is an hourly position) and pay will be negotiable based on experience. I think this role would be great for someone just trying to get into the IT field or someone who is currently in college majoring in computers and needing some real world experience.

Desired skills:
Familiarity on how to use MS Office Applications.
A working knowledge of Windows XP Professional.
Ability to setup and troubleshoot WiFi connections.
Some experience troubleshooting folder permissions.
Hardware experience such as installing RAM, hard drives, etc.
Ability to clearly communicate with clients and lead techs.
Attention to detail and documentation skills.

This is an hourly contract position. Travel around the city to various customer sites is required, so reliable transportation is a must. Having your own laptop would be a plus, but we can arrange for equipment if needed. Please NO recruiters, other IT consulting groups, or career coaches.
