Making people and ideas findable

I had some errands to run today and stopped for lunch at a place near me that I always forget is there, but is such a good deal, I should remember it more often. Kazablanka Grill & Bar (yeah, silly name) is on Rockville Road on the west side, before 465. They have an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $6.59 that has gyro meat and pita every day, but the other entrees change. Today they had tossed salad, homeade cream of broccoli soup, roast chicken, mixed vegetables, vegetarian egg rolls, macaroni & cheese, BBQ beef brisket, garlic mashed potatoes and desserts. They also have a full menu if the buffet doesn't strike you. Oh, and an all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch for the same price.

I don't remember which night(s) the bikers hang out there, but they'd love to have us for a lunch one month, if anyone is interested.

Rae - I love Kazablanka! The greek salad is wonderful! I agree, we should have lunch there - I live on the westside and my sister, daughters and I try to go at least once a month for lunch. Buffet or salad, it's always good!

On the calendar now. You might just change the title of this discussion to include March Lunch so that everyone knows the plan!

I'm excited about this one! I love gyros...

Rae you asked somewhere else about the importance of food to this group. I don't have an answer but the fact that we are setting lunch 2 months out is a testimony to how seriously we take it! And it's on my calendar.
