Making people and ideas findable

We're getting a jump on our summer lunch outings! August is planned, so lets decide where we'll all be going for July. Shawn RQ and I threw out the idea today after the Zest outing that we should go to The Friendly in Zionsville (sorry Nicki - it's far north).

Anyone got other suggestions?

No matter where we go, I hope we get another super great crowd like today!

I'd never been to The Friendly Tavern before (heck, I've hardly ever been to Zionsville!), so it was a great joy and pleasure to join about two dozen Smoosiers at this local eating establishment in Boone County on July 17, 2009:

The conversation was lively and animated, and everyone was in good spirits on a sunny Friday with pleasant temperatures and humidity (and you know that's an added bonus in the Hoosier state!). The Friendly has a wide variety of menu choices. I was surprised by the diverse selection! I tried the hot Italian sub:

I believe it was Dawn who enjoyed a visually-appealing chicken walnut salad, one of today's specials at The Friendly:

And you can't do much better than the traditional Hoosier Classic Tenderloin, devoured quickly by Troy:

I got to meet two of the biggest social media stars in cyberspace: Hazel Walker and Amy Stark, so not only did I have a great lunch with good conversation, good food, and new friends, but I was also honored to meet these two great ladies for the first time (with no disrespect intended to anyone else who was present)! Thanks to all for a wonderful afternoon in Zionsville!
