Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

My favorite place to do business, eat and play is Fionn MacCools Irish Pub at 8211 E. 116th Street. You can totally forget that you are even in Fishers when you are there. The bar was crafted in Ireland, disassembled, shipped here and reassembled by the same craftsman. All of the stone work and furniture came from Ireland as well. As for the food... it is the best Irish fare in the city. The fish is outstanding and they do make a preaty good burger for all us yanks. Wireless Internet is available, and I see business meetings taking place throughout the day. Why have coffee when you can have a pint and close a deal.
Weekends are especially fun with live music on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 9:00pm every weekend. Check out their web site at www.maccoolsirishpub.com and get signed up to receive emails or text messages for upcoming events. Be sure to check it out during the day as well. I have closed some of my biggest deals there, and I don't feel like I am working on top of a mushroom cap like I do in some of those coffee houses.
Did someone say discounts.... Fionn MacCools always has gift certificates available at resturant.com. A $10 lunch certificate is only $3.00 and a $25.00 dinner gift certificate is only $10.00.
Special events include corn hole tournaments, dart tournaments, and Whisky dinners. Check it out.
By the way, I DO NOT work there.

I used to work at MacCools, and had a good time. I saw Siochain there several times, and was surprised to find that a few of the members go to my church.
