Stone Creek Dining Company at Metropolis in Plainfield is having a wine dinner on November 11 from 6:30 to 10:00 the cost is only $40.00 their phone number is 317-837-9100 The last wine dinner sold out quick. It was so much fun, I loved finding out how to pair wine with food.

Hendricks County Smoosiers,
I've just joined this group and am looking forward to networking here.
Having recently retired after 33 years of teaching art full-time, I have formed a small business to continue doing full-time what I have been doing part-time for years. Artwork, bagpiping and caricatures.
Below are the services I provide.
* For weddings and receptions I do (and have done) calligraphy, bagpiping and am available for caricatures.
* For high school Post Proms I do (and have done) caricatures.
* For corporate, private and collegiate events and parties I do (and have done) bagpiping and caricatures.
* For artwork needs, I am available for (and have done) illustrations, portraits, pet portraits, full color caricatures and fine art for home, office or as gifts.
* For memorials, funerals and wakes I do (and have done) bagpiping.
I am currently taking appointments.
Thank you very much.

Hello All,

Today I read about the Gatorade company replacing the wood pallets they use for shipping their product to plastic ones. They gave several reasons and it made me wonder if any companies in Hendricks County are doing this as well.

Then I began to wonder if companies were changing vendors to reduce shipping time and costs as well as promote a greener way of conducting business.

If anyone has any thoughts about this trend, or experiences they would like to share, I would like to hear from them. What do you think?

I had a ton of fun at Tiki Time last year and it's time for the event again already. If you haven't been to Tiki Time you're missing out :) It's this Sat Aug 1@ the HC convention center. I think you can still get tickets.
