Making people and ideas findable

This just hit me! Nicki Laycoax is on to something that could be fantastic.

How many people watch the local and national news? What percentage of the stories are bad news?Yesterday, my sister, Jill Harding, mentioned that she has been exploring a "good news channel". She suggested this to Tony Scelzo (of Rainmakers), and he suggested she contact a few fellow Rainmakers with contacts at local news channels. While catching up on blogs, I saw numerous posts about companies cutting jobs or shutting down--more bad news.

So now onto why Nicki is a genius. She started this Exciting News group, which is exactly a "good news channel". How do we get something like this in the mainstream? Perhaps Tony could help by producing a weekly good news report on The Buzz? What do you think?

Perception is reality. The current perception is that things are bad. Let's change this.
