One Semester of Spanish Love Song


This video captures several basic terms in a corny yet catchy love song...

Translation:
Hello Miss-Hola Señorita
What's your name?-Como te llamas
My name is Mike, My name is Mike.-Me llamo Mike, Me llamo Mike.
Where is the bathroom?-Dondé esta el baño.
Happy Birthday.-Feliz Cumpleaños.
What time is it? What time is it?-Que hora es? Que hora es?
I like the library.-Me gusta la bibliotéca.
I live in a red house.-Yo vivo en la casa roja.
I have two bicycles.-Yo tengo dos biciclétas.
Thank you very much.-Muchas gracias
Yes.-Sí
You're welcome.-De nada.
How old are you?-Cuantos años tienes?
One minute please.-Un momento por favor.



My mom is pretty.-Mi mama es bonita.
My cat is very white.-Mi gato es muy blanco.

I don't remember how to say eleven.-No remembro how to say oncé.

This should provide a good start for beginners. I have tried to place accent marks and tilde's (~) over the letters that they are supposed to go over, but I may have missed a few, or possibly misplaced some... Having the song to listen to and follow along with the words should help with the pronunciations!

Hi I;m looking for a place to try Mexican hot chocolate - I was told they have chilli (yes! Chilli powder) and cinnamon! Sound delicious but not sure if any place here in Indy sell them. Any info is greatly appreciated.
PS: tried it at home but not quite the taste so I want to try the REAL thing.

This is a questions that is not so related to Spanish Friends, but one that some of you would at least have an interest in, and that is, Mexican Fried Ice Cream...more specifically, who has the best in Indianapolis?

Now, I'm talking at least as good as what Chi's Chi's used to have. One with a cinnamon shell (flat or a bowl)...Don Pablo's is not bad, but no shell, and the ice cream doesn't really seem to be frozen.

I am celebrating someone's birthday, and am thus on a quest to find the best fried ice cream in Indy. I have until September 14th to find this most delectable dessert. You're help is appreciated.

Okay, this is crazy. I really don't know how to use this thing and I looked down and saw so many comments about adding them to the list already. I really apologize for that.
