Although I do not have any family members going through cancer now (I lost 4 to cancer), I do have some friends with cancer now. I have some ideas through my company that will help those going through it be able to fight the disease more efficiently or give some relief of discomfort.

Hello,

I just joined the CFG. I am affiliated with a non-profit group called the Big Bear Foundation. We formed in honor of a dear friend that contracted testicular cancer in early 2007. He fought the disease for 17 months before it got the best of him last summer. Our goal is to promote cancer awareness and raise funds to support cancer research.

I wanted to invite everyone in the CFG to visit our official web site at www.bigbearfoundation.org or if you are on Facebook you can find our page at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=45851450768&ref=ts. If this link doesn't work, just do a search for us.

We are planning a summer event to raise funds that will benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation. You can learn more through FB or our site.

Please join our FB group and/or sign-up for our eNewsletter through our web site. We would love to have you as part of our Big Bear extended family.

Thanks!

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
