Thank you for being a member of the BackPack Attack School Supply Drive Cause on Smaller Indiana. It is said that 78% of the families in the Indianapolis Public Schools can’t afford the basic school supplies that their children need to do their work.

The goal for this year's drive is a half million supplies for Marion County students and we need your help more than ever. Through Smaller Indiana and Facebook We have almost 800 members so I will be donating $800 to the cause. Other members of the cause have pledged as well and we have over $1000 pledged so far.

Now we are asking YOU for help. Here is how you can help

* Get your business to conduct a school supply drive

* Donate now through www.backpackattackindy.org . Donating just $5.00 can buy a backpack for a child this year.

* Join us for our first ever BackPack Attack Golf Outing on July 22nd at Smock Golf Course, brought to you by our friends at Indiana Members Credit Union and Fiserv.

* Get a group of friends together to do your own collection outside of the work place. Please contact Marty Posch through SI if you are interested in doing this.

* Watch the BackPack Attack video on SI to find out more.

* Continue to spread the word about the cause.

Check out www.backpackattackindy.org for more information on the golf outing, how to register your business, and to donate online.

If you have any questions please let me know.

The children of Indianapolis need your help more than ever as they prepare for the 2009-2010 school year. Please help in any way possible.

Thank you for all your help

Hi Marty, I am happy to disseminate this info to my newsletter subscribers in the Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood! I can start a collection at MFCDC office.

As an incentive to help spread the word I will personally donate $1.00 for every person that is added to help children in Indianapolis.

Join me in pledging, or just help me spread the word!

This is a cause that is tangible and can be taken care of, with the help of everyone in our community.

You also can drop off supplies at The Children's Museum and through the United Way of Central Indiana. This is a great thing to do - thanks for creating the group!
