Making people and ideas findable

Kyle Lacy said he'd stop buying Apple products if the iPhone is sold at Walmart.

Well, it's official.. And while rumors that Walmart will sell iPhones' at $99 are not true (yet), it appears that refurbished units are being sold by AT&T for under $100.

Kyle?

He didn't actually say "buy" he said "by" and what did he mean by that? Look closely.

I'm going with "TYPO"

Stop BUYING or stop USING? If his current equipment is in good shape, he could certainly stop BUYING and continue USING long after we've all forgotten about it! :-)

HA ... Today, I'm cracking open a new T-Mobile G-1 Android Phone as I get to take the lead in convergent style!
Take that iPhonies! YOU ARE WEARING A PIECE OF WAL-MART! Ok, it's a very cool piece of Wal-Mart...

Seriously - I don't think that Wal-Mart selling the iPhone is a symbol of anything other than Apple having another huge hit on their hands. iPhone is an excellent product, and I really don't want to flame the Apple zealots into a lynch mob today.

Are you not concerned about the WalMart zealots?

WWKLD - My guess is Kyle will continue to use his iphone, will still be a MAC and shake his head in wonder that Apple would sell out it's brand to the local WalMart. Or, maybe he's out now replacing everything Apple. NAH..........

Reply to This

I wont replace everything... but I am ashamed at the Apple brand.

Doesn't pay to be one of the cool kids on the block, does it?

Oh wow. I had no idea this was going on... Thank you Lindsay Manfredi and Paula for cluing me in.. Well.. well.. It's official.

I will continue to use my iPhone but it is going to be hard for me to ever buy another Apple product again. There is no way that I will be switching back to the Blackberry and I already use a PC in my office.

I think they are degrading their brand name by offering the products in other stores... especially Walmart!
