Making people and ideas findable

Kyle Lacy said he'd stop buying Apple products if the iPhone is sold at Walmart.

Well, it's official.. And while rumors that Walmart will sell iPhones' at $99 are not true (yet), it appears that refurbished units are being sold by AT&T for under $100.

Kyle?

I think wal-mart should be responsible for providing HEALTH CARE too.. for everybody at Roll Back Prices, and pay Doctors Minimum Wage.

i do not want a doctor who is getting minimum wage seeing me!

LOL why not? you trust the preparation of your food when eating out to people making minimum wage? JK... we could pay them $10 an hour.. they can live on that right?

MSNBC reported Wal-Mart will be selling the iPhone for only $2 (Two) below Apple's price. The 8g will sell for $197 and the 16g will sell for $297. Not exactly a remarkable savings. Best Buy sells it for a $9 savings. Not much better. I'd rather get one at full price and work with the passionate pros at Apple.

You guys are missing the point. It's not about the price...it's about Kyle. What will he do now that Apple is available (at any price) at Walmart? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well... It would appear that Kyle would now be a PC and that he may be switching back to his Blackberry. Sorry Kyle.

In Kyle's defense, my neighbor went to our local WalMart and purchased a TMobile phone... It took them 3 HOURS to activate it. I can only imagine what would happen with an iPhone. WalMart staff are not the most technologically advanced people. I don't think that I'd disown my iPhone or my Mac, but I'd definitely steer clear of WalMart for any type of service at all.

hey now, I have a friend who works at Walmart in the Electronics area and he's... well, good point. :P

Kyle won't switch or stop. He's too plugged in to Apple to switch without a lot of pain. It's like saying you're going to stop eating food, because you heard that Charles Manson ate food too. Kyle would die within 3 days of losing his iPhone.

You know, I would be the same way. To me, it's no big deal if it's sold at Walmart or Best Buy. It's still a great product and to switch would be such a pain.

I also agree with Nicki above, Walmart would be terrible for service.

You cracked me up!

Ooops. I meant that for Erik.

Did Kyle say he wouldn't use an IPhone if Walmart sold one? I thought he said he wouldn't use it it was $99- from Walmart (new).
