Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Hi Folks,
I'm the new Indianapolis Small Business Strategies Examiner for Examiner.com and I'm looking for people to connect with and write about in Indy. Primarily, I'm looking for people who want to talk to me about:
- The little quirks of doing business in Indianapolis. Are the people different than in other places you've worked?

- Your small business- what makes you something the people of Indianapolis should know about and what are the most successful strategies that you employ in your small business?

- Any businesses, tools, web sites that are Indy- and small business-specific.

- Networking for small business owners and how it's worked for you.

- Anything else you think I should know about.

The Examiner.com audience is a national audience. The demographic is generally highly educated, high-income, and the site has well over 2M unique visitors daily. I'm writing for the local, Indianapolis segment of the site.

If you're interested in having you and/or your business featured in a future Examiner.com article, send me a private message here or e-mail me and tell me what you have in mind. Feel free to share this invite with anyone you know!

I'd love to talk to you about my business and how elder care issues are affecting everyone. My business, Aging Avenues helps families and business who are dealing with elder care issues. We assess the seniors needs and help determine a plan of action and provide referrals or help select a facility. We also have a website to education Boomers who are going to find themselves becoming a caregiver. Caregiver today is costing employers $2500 per employee often because they don't know what to do. Please contact me so we can talk further 317-731-3315 or carlotta@agingavenues.com.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
