A recent Nielsen Report shows that social network usage is up 83% in the United States from a year ago. Talk about some major growth in the Internet communication sector. What does this mean for brands? What does this mean for your business?


I am not going to hold it against you if you would rather ignore the growth on the Internet. If it is not for you that is okay but keep an eye on this growing trend because it will be FOR YOU in the future. Needless to say, it is cool to see more and more people taking advantage of this awesome medium!

I saw this same post on MSNBC and had posted it in your last discussion that received tons of feedback. This just proves that people are getting on the computer more to network. They look at their time as valuable so they would opt for the easiest way to communicate with people without having to drive to a networking event take the time to sit there and then drive back. This is the easiest way for business people to communicate their business and make connections. After the connections are made they then came schedule a meeting that has had a warm introduction instead of having to sell yourself to a cold lead. Just as email is easier and more effective than snail mail this too will provide companies and individuals easier access for B2B and B2C interaction

He's got a wealth of experience doing this for his firm and lately has been featured at Google talks, TV shows, and Open Video Forums.
