Pegasus vs Unicorn in a war to the death: who would win?

If the Pegasus and the Unicorn decided to fight: Who would win?
This could be one of the greatest questions of all time. And deserves a in-depth discussion. The implications of these two great titans going to war could alter the history of the world and the balance of power in mythological world. In reality, if the war would really take place…I think we would all be shocked

So who would win and why? My money is on the Unicorn.

Well, the unicorn has good offensive weaponry, but Pegasus has superior defensive capabilities. Gee, that's a tough one. I'll have to consult my palantir.

My first instinct was the unicorn, 'cause duh, big pointy horn! What would the Pegasus do, wing the unicorn to death?

Upon a little more thought, though, Pegasus can fly and Unicorn can't, giving high-ground advantage. Could inflict some good bashing damage with the hooves at head level. That is, if important leg tendons and ligaments don't get skewered.

I'm going to go with Pegasus, but by a very narrow margin.

Depends...some legends have the unicorn's pointy tip being just that, plain and simple.
Others say that his horny accessory is magical (although I'm betting this rumor was probably started by the unicorn himself by writing it on the unicorn-ess restroom walls!).

I'm saying it's sort of a "Hulk smash" sort of fight. If the uni makes a vicious enough contact, he wins. But I'm betting that the first sign of trouble, the Pegasus says "screw it" and just flies away.
