Making people and ideas findable

www.wix.com/dagolola/Virtual-Assistant1

Hello again everyone! I wanted to post a quick message saying I have opened the doors of my virtual assistant business.

Please visit my temporary website above for more information about me and about what you can get with a virtual assistant. You will see that there are many benefits to hiring someone on an as-needed basis, rather than paying full-time or part-time employees (along with their benefits, sick time and vacation). A virtual assistant is also more cost effective than using a temp agency or employment agency.

Please let me know if there are any projects I can help you with. Small or large - it doesn't' matter. Just send me a note and we can discuss the particulars.

I look forward to working with many of you in the future!

-Lorin Lambert

Hi Lorin!

Congrats on getting your new business up and running! I have a suggestion for you regarding your website: If you are going to stick with the Wix service, to help people remember how to find your site, you need to buy a domain name that you can point to your site. Just go to GoDaddy.com and you can do it there. I know I wouldn't be able to remember or refer "www.wix.com/dagolola/Virtual-Assistant1", but I could remember or refer LorinLambert.com or yourvirtualassistant.com.. :)

Best of luck to you!

Thank you so much Nicki! I have actually purchased lorinlambert.com but haven't made the transition permanent. Reason being, I'm not really happy with this website but wanted to get something up a.s.a.p. to at least sent people to for more information. But I should have my new website completed this week.

Thank you so much for your comment!

Hi Lorin,

If you would like I can help you with your website needs. If you want me to have lorinlambert.com point to your existing website, I will do that as a courtesy. I could also build you a custom website to provide you with something you will be very happy with. My cost is very reasonable and I can accommodate any budget.

Let me know if I can help,

Johnnie

Hi Lorin,

I am also thinking of doing a virtual admin business online and have been researching information. Do you have any suggestions for issues to consider?

Was just checking your services out, Tim Ferriss (author) talks a lot about his VA's that run his life for him. Don't think my firm can afford an "American" VA though. . . .

Your website looks very good, clean and simple, wishing you well in the business world. -Brian

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

4. Events should be posted in the events calendar, not inside blog posts

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

7. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
