Is there a specific agenda or format that attendees should be aware of?
I would like to attend, as I am sure others would like to as well and want to be prepared.
Your suggestions as to prepared questions or time I should set aside for this public event.
Thanks,
Dani Flores

Mayor Greg Ballard and his Infrastructure Advisory Commission held its first public meeting on Tuesday, May 26 at the IPS Center for Inquiry.

The Commission, announced in the Mayor’s State of the City address, is charged with analyzing and identifying Indianapolis-Marion County’s greatest infrastructure needs and reviewing opportunities to address these challenges and fees for services through creative and sustainable solutions.

“The Infrastructure Advisory Commission has done a terrific job examining the complicated and real infrastructure challenges Indianapolis faces,” said Mayor Ballard. “Before we can tackle the problem of how to address our needs, we must identify our biggest areas of need.”

Several dozen people were in attendance and actively participated in the meeting by asking questions of Mayor Ballard, his staff and the Commission members.

“Achieving my administration’s goal of making Indianapolis the most livable big city in America means confronting our infrastructure challenges in a direct way and by maximizing public input,” Mayor Ballard continued.

Note: the PowerPoint presentation slides from the Commission’s public meeting are attached to this release.
