Making people and ideas findable

The Feeling that can Heal.

We learn a self-assessment basic pattern in first 7 years of our life. We test it during our adolescent years and change it less and less as years go by. Well... most of us.

Our actions and behavior mirror how we feel about and see ourselves.

I've read somewhere that by age 18 a human being has been told "No" more than 150, 000 times.

I coach adults with a believe that if the programming you receive as a child does not serve you any more to live a happy, productive life - its time to cause a CHANGE.

How do you see yourself? How do others?

Great post, Genie. Too many people have garbage programmed into their little heads as kids, which then proceeds to stick with them until they realize how damaging some of their training has been.

My recent reprogramming:

Work doesn't have to equal suffering--I can have a business of my own and love what I do.
Like the cheesy L'Oreal commercial, I am worth it. Worth taking myself out of town at the end of this month for a much needed retreat with myself, worth a facial, worth spending time and money on.
Perfection is a crock. I didn't come here to be perfect, and neither did anyone else.

Any more, I really like me. I love my own company. Even when I screw something up and make a big nitwit of myself, I still love me. And when I love me, I have more love to share. It is a win-win situation.
