Maybe you have to see the movie again and replay it in your head the way he says it. I get getty every time I hear him say it in my thoughts.

I enjoy the truth found in this one. However, it can put off the wrong message to someone who isn't fully thinking clearly. Some may see it as suggesting to love everyone.

Sure we can love everyone, but most have a short extent to a possible love.

This one struck me yesterday while reading C.S. Lewis regarding Human Pain.

"Suffering is not good in itself. What is good in any painful experience is for the sufferer, his submission to the will of God, and, for the spectators, the compassion aroused and the acts of mercy to which it leads".

I also try to live by "Treat Others the Way I Want to be Treated".

I am also a CASA so I see folks in a variety of walks of life and circumstances and you never know what is going on w/someone so it behooves all of us not to judge another without that knowledge.

Ashley, I was a CASA for a few years in Southern California. It was one of the most meaningful (although often heartbreaking) experiences I've ever had. It's a program that changes lives - both the volunteers and the children and families involved.
