Congregation Shaarey Tefilla Ninth Annual Casino Night and Silent Auction Needs Donations!

January 7, 2009

Dear Sirs and Madams,

I am pleased to announce the Congregation Shaarey Tefilla Ninth Annual Casino Night and Silent Auction. This year, the event will be held on Saturday evening, February 28, 2009. Once again, we will be offering true Las Vegas-style licensed gambling and our unique Silent Auction.

I am inviting you to become a part of this elegant and worthwhile event, either by becoming one of our corporate sponsors or by donating items/gift certificates for the Silent Auction. We encourage you to donate a gift certificate if possible. We have found in the past that this leads to a larger sale for most retailers, and has a greater perceived value to those bidding at our silent auction. All proceeds will go toward our synagogue, Congregation Shaarey Tefilla, on West 116th Street in Carmel, Indiana. As such, all donations are tax deductible, and all donors will be recognized on the night of the event. Each $250 sponsor will receive two complementary tickets to Casino Night (worth $30 each). An ad book with your name included will also be given to our more than 250 attendees.

We know that many charitable organizations approach your business for donations, and we sincerely thank you for your help in making Congregation Shaarey Tefilla a thriving place of worship. We will strive to keep your business’ name in the minds and hearts of our supporters.

Thank you again for your consideration.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

7. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
