Making people and ideas findable

All right Smoosiers, I need your help. America is facing challenges unlike anything since the 1930s and my belief is that humans excel under pressure. Regardless of your political views, the last six months proved that most Americans want something different, something better. The question is how do we get there and who is going to do it? Unless Barack Obama attended Hogwart's before Harvard, there won't be any magic fixes, so I am writing a story about the people on the ground - the community organizers, educators, engineers, inventors, programmers, lawyers, and legislators who will be remembered as America's next "Greatest Generation."

Who in and around Indianapolis do you think is doing great work to fix what ails us?

I think you are witnessing one of the weakest generations right now if you meaning political will and some other cultural aspects. You will see some true leaders in about 6-8 years.

Explain how you perceive record voter turnout and massive involvement from typically absent voting groups to be an expression of weak "political will?" I'm sincerely curious. Please share your thoughts on the other cultural aspects as well.

Well, the huge voter turnout that people said is happening did not. While you had more people register to vote, the same percentage still turned out compare to the 2004 election. The youth turnout that was much hyped wasn't the driving force.

Politcal weakness comes from not us understanding economics and basic class warfare with our current tax system. Our population doesn't understand the concept of States Rights or that we are a nation of Republics. One thing that will start taking us down is growth of government and we will have a political civil war very shortly. Not with guns or blood, but states not backing each other.

Culturally we live in a hyphenated country. I have studied "Diversity Programs" and they don't work out. Not saying Civil Rights, so no one can spin it. Maybe give me some culture items and I can comment on them since there are so many.

Our current president elect, well no one knows this guy. Seriously, not much of a background to go off of and everything was very secretive of him. I follow politics very much and this guy is getting hosed now by the Clinton Democrats. Reality is setting in for his supporters. I can see why people voted for him, very good speaker and ran an excellent campaign.
