Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

I'm new to the Indianapolis area and am looking for recommendations for a CPA to do taxes and for general business counsel. I live and work on the northeast side, so CPAs in the vicinity would be appreciated.

Why do you recommend him/her/them and what are their strengths or weaknesses.

I have the best CPA around, Cox Beckman and Goss. I deal with Brian Beckman, his number 317-545-0856,

They are small yet resourcesful. Agrressive yet honest. Inexpensive yet valuable.

I have been using them since 2001 and I get great personal service. What else can I say? Hope this helps.

From Appleton Wisconsin. We moved down for a promotion my wife took. I do software development as an independent consultant so I can work from anywhere.

Thanks all (and any who follow) for the help.

Small world. I was born in Madison. Have not been back for a long time but both parents are Wisconsin Grads. What contacts are you looking for on the consulting side?. Who can feed you and we will see if we can make connections for you.

David, thanks for the help!

I'm a .NET developer by trade, doing mostly web-application based software development for businesses behind the firewall. I'm looking to help small-to-medium-sized businesses who are building their line-of-business software, but don't have the resources to build an entire IT staff or an entire team of developers.

My best clients are those who have a vision of the future of their systems but don't want to build the whole thing in one chunk. They are more interested in a long-term relationship with their software developer and see their software as something that grows over time.

I'd sum it up like this:
I love creating software that solves business problems.
You bring your business knowledge and needs.
I'll bring the technology know-how.
Together, we'll turn problems into solutions.

Mike Rasor and associates at LM Henderson and Company on the north side is one-of-a-kind. I met Mike when I sold him his first Compaq luggable in 1984. He's well known in the health care and not-for-profit world. He's also a tax attorney.

I am a local CPA on the south side of Indy. Our website is under construction, but you can still view at www.cpaindy.com. We are quite small, so we can beat most firms' prices AND we give personal service instead of you reaching a receptionist or recording.
