Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

Last night I met artists,, designers, engineers, mothers, fathers and many more...I met people from all over the world and we chatted about a wide range of topics...and oh, by the way, I heard amazing stories from professional storytellers in an historic building, which has a story of its own to tell. How about you? Will you share with us your story from last night's party?

I had an awesome time at the +3000 Smaller Indiana party! It is always cool to put the faces and names with a personality offline! I met quite a few people but there are two that I would like to throw out there: Onye Ndika and Elsie Rotich.

Onye maybe the only person in Smaller Indiana that is more obsessed with social media than I am, which is hard to find. :-)

Elsie works for the Indiana University School of Medicine and is from Kenya. She travels back and forth twice a year working for the IU-Kenya Partnership.

Both were a pleasure to meet and of course the storytellers thing was AWESOME. I won tickets and will be attending on the 11th. :-)

Hey Kyle,

Nice seeing you at the party! I wish we had gotten a chance to talk, but maybe that was a good thing. We had to many new people to meet!

Have a great weekend!

I was in a meeting and when I told them that I was about to leave, all hell broke loose. My two constituents who were going to be my guests at the SI event were really hot under the collar because we had to stay or there would be severe consequences. One of my directors (Operation "Open UP!") kept saying (throughout the meeting), "We need to be at the Smaller Indiana party. They would appreciate us there!" And, I was really anxious to meet my "banter buddy" Kyle!

I assured my people that there would be other Smaller Indiana events that I would make sure they made it to. The magic of this story is that neither of my directors have computers or belong to SI. I have created so much buzz with them that they couldn't wait to meet the people that I communicate with!

Now that's what I call teeth.

We won't miss the next big one, I promise. We have also allied to make sure we make as many smaller Smaller events as we can. I can't get over how excited they were to go to the party and they aren't even members!

I hope you all had fun for me.

I really enjoyed meeting people at the party last night. I was fortunate to have made a couple of very productive business contacts as well. The stories were fantastic and I look forward to attending future story telling events. Thanks to everyone responsible for putting together this memorable evening.

I had a fantastic time, more of you should have showed up! The entertainment was amazing and meeting people I normally wouldn't meet in a normal day was even better. Thanks for all the work that went into planning it and at the 4,000+ party I will make it my personal mission to get more of you there.

I met some real live Smooosier's! This was my first opportunity to meet w/ the Smaller Indiana crowd. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome.

Now, I have to go and find out how to really "get into" Smaller Indiana. Anyone have a suggestion on where to start?
