Making people and ideas findable

Today at Mug N Bun was yummy, greasy and sticky, all rolled into one and I think Erik has a new favorite tenderloin spot. Thanks guys, for coming out.

So, shall we talk about Friday, September 19th for the next official lunch? Any suggestions on where to go? Today I brought up the Tie Dye Grill, which is supposed to have a killer Reuben and it's over on the east side, for those who work in the area and have had trouble making it to lunches downtown and on the west side. I've attached the menu.

I'm in for Tye Dye. I would like to go to Tip Top Tavern at 14th(ish) and Capitol at some point, but this Tye Dye place sounds interesting.

Perfect. Never been there...looking forward to something new.

I'm in. Where are they located? What time are we meeting there? Is it a cash only place, or do they take plastic?

The link in my original post goes to their Web site, which has a map. I'll call about the credit cards, and 1 pm seems to be working well.

OK, so here's the deal. In a grand display of stupidity (and without thinking about the monthly lunch get togethers), I wagered with some of my coworkers on who could lose weight by the beginning of October. I would love to join you guys this month, but I will have to wait until the October lunch. How dumb am I to bet money on weight loss?

I'm sure they have salad at this place. Plus, you could sit and watch us eat, filling yourself up on smug self-satisfaction, knowing that your deprivations will bring you financial gain.

Or you could just eat lunch and go for a run after work that day.

I looked at the menu and they do indeed have some nice salads. So Brian, you're not off the hook. Gotta come.

I can always count on you guys to reel me back in to real dining. Count me in.

Deprivations. Financial gain. What the heck does all that mean?

Love the Tie Dye. It's close to our new Eastgate location. Seating's a bit limited. We may want to warn them that we're coming. Anyone who's interested in seeing what we're doing to the Eastgate Mall is welcome to tour the place after lunch.

If the offer's still good, I'd love a tour after lunch today to see what's happening.
