Making people and ideas findable

If you had the opportunity to select a speaker to address a large group of local networkers, in Indy, who would you select?

Linda Rendleman speaks on Women issues. I hear she's great.

Yep, she's a great gal... I'm looking forward to "overhearing" parts of her address to the Confluence crowd. Thanks, Gina!

I'd recommend Betty Cockrum, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Indiana. She's a master at networking, a former state budget director, and leads the fourth largest PP in the nation (in numbers of patients served).

Hum, interesting suggestion, TB. Thanks for responding, I'll check into Ms. Cockrum a bit further. Cheers.

Lorraine Ball and Doug Karr..
and of course, Pat Coyle.

Kyle... Great main-line networking suggestions. Any, out-of-box ideas or interests on your part?

Hell I will speak

Not a bad idea! "Socially Creative!"

* From a social impact perspective, Lucious Newsome who started The Lord's Pantry.

* From a well-respected, well-networked perspective, Myra Borshoff Cook, principal of Borshoff Public Relations. Or Erik Johnson, who is not so much a household name, but is intelligent, articulate and also a principal at Borshoff.

I'll keep thinking on this and may come back with more suggestions.

Borshoff Johnson Matthews is a client of ours, are we talking about the same Borshoff? If so, what is your connection?

Reply to This

No real connection. I had the chance to work with Myra when she was helping get a conference my office was planning off the ground. I haven't spoken to Erik in a very long time. He and I served on a Habitat for Humanity PR committee together about 10 years ago. But I remember him as someone who was genuine and really willing to give a new young professional some good insight.

Tony Dungy is always a good call.
