Making people and ideas findable

I think we may have talked about this place at one time: Mug n Bun at 5311 W. 10th St. I just read about it on the Middle West Meals blog. I don't know whether they have a place to sit, but it might be worth a try if we all pile into cars and eat at the drive-in.

So far, I think we've got a few people coming out on the 22nd so we should have a fine, greasy lunch and lots of root beer. Glad you could join us.

Hey, great seeing you yesterday.

Erik. 8/22 is the Rainmakers Golf Outing, which creates a conflict for me... not sure if others have considered this. If this is largely non-RM folks, then it's a non-issue. Let me know if the date changes. Cheers.

Or a largely non-golf group...

I think Doug Theis and I are the only Rainmakers who have attended this group thus far. But I don't golf, so I won't be going. I'm not even a bad golfer, that's how much I don't golf.

Cool, I'll catch the next one then. We should hit the links sometime for humor! LOL

I "play" once a year in a company scramble. I'm the z-rated player or comic relief. I borrow clubs (you know who your real friends are if they loan you their clubs). The past 2 years I have had the opportunity to play several times. I chose not to as then I would have to buy a set of clubs and be considered a golfer. I may be a lot of things and people may call me a lot of names, but golfer is not one of them.

My husband Jeremy is also a non-golfer, but he wants to be one. So far he just hits practice balls in the backyard with one random club my dad gave him when we were in Florida in December, but my dad is sending a set up to him. When it gets here, maybe you, Erik and Jeremy should find another non-golfer that you can share clubs with, go out, and look silly together.

that could be dangerous to any person, creature or structure within a slice or a hook distance away.

I'd love to hit the course the these guys to look silly. I'm one of those "pretend" golfers. I've been out maybe 2 times in the past threee years, but I've got my own clubs, shoes, and everything else.

Well then, you're well on your way to mediocrity!
